How your license key works

Some of our plugins check a license key when they start. This is what that means for you.

Where to find your key

Sign in and open your purchase on the account page. If a product has a license, there is a License key button that takes you to it. If you joined our Discord, you can also use the bot to see your license there.

What the key does

The key tells the plugin that it was bought. The plugin sends the key to our license server when it starts, and the server answers whether it is valid. Nothing else about your server is needed for that.

Moving to a new server

1. Open the key on the product page.
2. Update the server address or the details it is tied to.
3. Restart the plugin on the new server.

If the plugin still refuses to start, read the message in the console first. It usually says exactly what is wrong. If it does not help, open a support ticket and include that message.

Keep your key private

Do not post your key in public channels or screenshots. Anyone who has it can use it. If you think it leaked, contact us and we can help you.
