Using your products

Install a server setup

A server setup is a ready-made server: worlds, plugins and configuration put together for one kind of game mode.

Before you begin

  • Read the product page. It lists the Minecraft version, the server software and the plugins the setup needs.
  • Install it on a new, empty server folder. Do not unpack it over a server that already has players and data you want to keep.
  • Make sure your host allows the required Java version and enough memory.

Install

  1. Download the setup from your account page.
  2. Unzip it into your server folder.
  3. Read any instructions file that comes inside the download.
  4. Enter your own license keys for the plugins that need them (see "Get your license key").
  5. Start the server and check the console for errors.
  6. Change the server name, spawn, permissions and messages to match your network.
